Services

A summary of just some of the extensive business services we can provide is to set in the list below although it is by no means comprehensive:

Documents: drafting and checking in a legal context; tactical advice; guidance;

Business projects: there may be a one-off situation arising but insufficient management or staff time to deal with it.  Sometimes it may need professional input anyway. We can provide that input at any stage of your project while ensuring you can also make the best use of your own resources;

Business: advice, guidance, tactics, drafting, checking – Boardroom to basement level;

Contracts: drafting; negotiating; finalising all stages of contracts;

Letter writing: There is so often a need for very carefully and professionally worded letters to
be prepared where either some difficulty has arisen or a sensitive issue needs to be addressed.  Often these will also directly or indirectly require tactical advice and direction.  Sometimes a formal solicitor's letter can seem just a little too 'heavy' for the circumstances and so the approach of a carefully worded letter seen as coming direct from the business concerned can be designed to appear as soft or as hard hitting as the client's best interest determine;

Out-source work: specifically to the legal profession: from residential conveyancing to commercial dispute resolution. There are simply times when solicitors' firms can use a temporary extra pair of qualified hands for specific aspects of a piece of litigation or in providing conveyancing cover;

Organisational: advising upon or establishing office or other systems of work or file management;

Management: help and advice on management issues at all levels from shop floor to director;

Administrative issues: advice as required and practical assistance;

Speed of communication:
Our use of I.T. ensures that there will be no leaving of letters in the “in-tray” for days on end for example. If we are already committed, we will say so and will provide estimates of timescales where necessary. That way, the client or potential client can plan accordingly;

Making full use of I.T.
This follows naturally from the speed of communication aspect through the predominant use of email and the extensive benefits of “Web 2.0” as outlined in “What we offer”.

Clients will have passworded access to their folders/files at all times when necessary.

We and clients are able to access and discuss documents through viewing the same onscreen information in real time whatever the geographical distances between us using Skype, ‘chat’ and webcam facilities – but never forgetting the need for the more conventional post, phone and email.
